Ella’s birthday was this weekend. Thura came from Vegas and our families from Phoenix to help us celebrate my little girl. It was a beautiful thing to see Thura together again. It was as if we just picked up where we left off. Sunday afternoon we target practiced on our back porch with my pellet gun. The targets escalated or should I say shrank as the night pored in. We ended up bustin’ some bottle caps at 10 paces. All in all I found peace in their company.

Today Ella went to have her 2 year check up. I split like a gazelle when the shots, all three of them, came in on a tray.

The Six Year Old Virgin.

I hate computers. I love computers. Unmountable boot drive error + 3 days later = hard drive becoming a paper weight. So now we own two computers. One is in the process of getting it’s guts put back inside it and the other is faster than a speeding bullet (64 bit 3400 processor – oh hell ya).

I’ve been listening to Dane Cook (yes it’s rated “R” and I think it is funny as all things funny – here have some spaghetti) a lot lately and all I have to say is “where’s the handle”.

I’m off to Vegas for an overnighter with my dad and brother and his hot rod truck (it’s a guy thing, male bonding and all that). I wish I had some extra time to visit but I don’t.
